**Tasting Option 1 – Mediterranean Diet Trio

“Tiborna” consisting of hot bread, virgin olive oil and Algarve oranges, served with a glass of the nectar of the gods or another drink of your choice (excludes premium gin and old whisky).

**Tasting Option 2 – Algarve Sweet and Liqueur

Fig star OR Carob Tart OR Orange Swiss Roll, served with Regional Liqueur or another drink of your choice (excludes premium gin and old whisky).

OPENING HOURS

Faro Story Spot’s opening hours are: From 1 January to 31 May and from 1 October to 31 December Monday to Saturday:  10 am to 5.30 pm (last entry time). Closed on Sundays and on 1 January and 24 and 25 December. From 1 June to 30 September Monday to Sunday:  10 am to 10 pm (last entry time).

How to Book

For your convenience and to ensure you are able to visit at your desired time, we recommend booking in advance on our website www.Faro.StorySpot.pt

You can also book in person at the Faro Story Spot shop, located in Largo da Sé in Faro, Portugal.

In the case of groups of more than eight people and made-to-measure events, bookings must be made as far in advance as possible (minimum of 24 hours). Confirmation of group bookings is subject to full payment or a deposit.

How to get here

FARO STORY SPOT is located in the heart of Faro’s historical centre (called “Vila Adentro” in Portuguese and usually referred to as the “Old Town” in English). It is a five-minute walk from the free, 24-hour public car park in Largo de São Francisco.

Checking in

Please be at reception at least 10 minutes before the start time marked on your ticket to check in and get your free audio guide (if desired) which will accompany your on your visit to the multimedia exhibition. The audio guide equipment must be returned at the designated place at the end of the visit.

Accessibility

All content is available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French via the audio guides which are included in the cost of the visit. 

Faro Story Spot is able to receive visitors with reduced mobility.To ensure the quality and safety of the experience, visitors with reduced mobility will be accompanied by a member of our team. We therefore recommend that visitors requiring this service contact us before buying their tickets so that our team can be ready to welcome them and make sure their experience is memorable.We have adapted toilets for people with reduced mobility and for use only by visitors to the centre.

There are no lockers or any other place to store personal items. 

A complaints book is available in both physical and electronic formats.

For your safety and security, the space is monitored by a closed-circuit TV system that records images.

Terms and conditions

Visits can be cancelled in person at Faro Story Spot, by telephone or by e-mail no later than 24 hours before the start time of the visit in question. Visitors will be refunded subject to the payment of a fee of five euros per ticket. For group bookings, cancellations or any changes to the booking must be made in person, by telephone or by e-mail no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

For no-shows or late arrivals (arrival at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time), the visit can be rescheduled for another available time subject to the payment of a fee of five euros. This option is only available up to 24 hours after the scheduled start time of the booked activity.

Visitors who are unable to participate in any part or parts of the Faro Story Spot experience are not entitled to any reduction in price or any alternative, whether in cash or in kind.  

Faro Story Spot will refund the full cost of tickets purchased in the event of cancellations due to the following circumstances: natural disasters, weather conditions, system failures, power cuts or other circumstances beyond its control and which put the safety and/or integrity of the participants, equipment and/or goods at risk. Visitors will not be entitled to any additional compensation over and above the refund of their tickets in the event of cancellations due to the aforementioned circumstances.

During the Multimedia Tour of the Museum: 

  • Visitors must remain silent and switch off or silence their mobile phones and any other electronic devices.
  • Eating is not permitted.
  • Luggage and other personal belongings such as boxes, shopping bags, plants or flowers are not permitted.  
  • Animals are not permitted with the exception of guide dogs.
  • Smoking is not permitted, including electronic cigarettes.

 

During the tasting session, when purchased along with the tour ticket:

  • Each visitor is entitled to one food item and one drink. 
  • Tasting sessions usually last for 20 to 30 minutes.

 

Matters not covered under these terms and conditions should be discussed with the company and are governed by the applicable Portuguese legislation.
